In a nation governed by the people themselves, the possession of arms to defend their nation against usurpers within and without was deemed absolutely necessary. This right is protected by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. The Second Amendment wasn’t written into our Bill of Rights so that we could go duck or deer hunting.The Second Amendment was given to us as protection against tyranny by the federal government and the Congress of the United States
